Prophet is now Deepbase.
The new name reflects our deep integration with the blockchain ecosystem and our continued focus on supporting the foundational infrastructure of Web3. This rebrand aligns with our original mission: to provide reliable, enterprise-grade Chainlink services — every transaction, every request, every day.
In 2018, when we first joined the Chainlink Network as a node operator for the original ETH/USD price feed, Chainlink was primarily an oracle network. Our old name, Prophet, fit that purpose — delivering accurate data for smart contracts.
Since then, Chainlink has evolved far beyond. It has become a comprehensive platform powering blockchain networks, DeFi applications, and traditional finance through products like Data Feeds and Streams, CCIP, Chainlink Functions, VRF, CRE, ACE, and more. Chainlink is no longer just an oracle service — it’s the connective tissue between blockchains and traditional systems.
We’ve grown alongside Chainlink, becoming one of the top 10 busiest nodes for CCIP and other core services. What began as a small setup focused on data feeds has become a high-performance, bare-metal infrastructure operation supporting communication and computation between blockchains and the traditional economy. The name Deepbase reflects this transformation.
As Deepbase, we continue to operate Chainlink nodes and provide services with 99.9% uptime and strong redundancy, while expanding support for more chains, dApps, and cross-chain services.
The rebrand marks the growth of both Chainlink and Deepbase — from providing simple oracle services to powering global infrastructure that connects blockchains with each other and with traditional financial systems.
Built by one of the earliest teams to help Chainlink bring the real world onto the blockchain. Deepbase is the fast, secure infrastructure for digital economies.
